Lead
Game Economy Designer
to join our team and work on our existing and future games.
The role combines hand‑on economy design with leadership and mentorship. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of game mechanics, economy, player behavior, and advanced monetization strategies.
You will be responsible for the full economy of at least one major project or multiple smaller projects, while also setting standards, reviewing work, and guiding the growth of other game economy designers.
This role works closely with game designers, analysts, product managers, and live‑ops to ensure our economies are engaging, scalable, and monetization‑friendly.
Role
Design, balance, implement, and maintain in‑game economies for hybrid casual games.
Lead and mentor economy designers on multiple projects
Review economy designs, spreadsheets, and simulations created by the team.
Set best practices, documentation standards, and economy guidelines.
Conduct advanced player data analysis and behavioral studies to fine‑tune in‑game economies and monetization strategies, and to identify opportunities for optimization and growth
Increase revenue streams and monetization depth, providing a long‑term vision
Provide strategic recommendations for game updates, events, and promotions based on economic performance and player feedback.
Drive close collaboration with Game Designers, Developers, Data Analysts and Product Owners to align economic strategies with game design goals and target KPIs
Perform market research to stay up‑to‑date with industry trends, competitor strategies, and best practices in hybrid‑casual games
Requirements
5+ years as Lead/ Senior Game Economy Designer on casual or hybrid‑casual games
Proven experience owning economies for live games.
Experience mentoring or leading other designers
Strong understanding of game design principles, player psychology, and advanced monetization techniques.
Strong mathematical or economic background, fluency in economic modeling and Excel/Google Sheets/relevant toolset
Proficiency in using analytics tools and software to analyze complex player data and behavior.
Ability to create detailed and sophisticated documentation and balance sheets.
Clear communication skills in English, both written and verbal; Clear and concise.
Deep knowledge of the latest trends and best practices in mobile game monetization.
Experience with live operations and in‑game events.
