Job Description The Lead Generation/Sample Room Manager is responsible for managing and executing processes to enhance the customer experience and speed to market while collaborating with Product Line Managers, Sales, Customer Service, and Marketing. This individual will oversee the Lead Generation Team, Jr. Inside Sales team, Sample Center Team and The Sample Center Facility. Additionally, supporting Amcor business objectives utilizing software applications, business acumen skills, technical product expertise, and functional support knowledge to provide colleagues with critical market data aimed at better serving customers and driving sales.
Primary Responsibilities
Utilize various business tools to identify trends, summarize data, and report key metrics. Facilitate communication of key information to sales team, marketing personnel, and divisional leadership using new and existing software applications.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and customers to communicate market swings and customer preferences.
Utilize software applications to make data‑driven suggestions regarding content, messaging, and customer communication frequency.
Execute continuous improvement initiatives by reviewing current process states, measuring effectiveness, and recommending sustained enhancements.
Develop new processes as business functions change and evolve.
Teach, coach, and train colleagues to ensure clear understanding of operational steps and process value.
Develop, plan, and execute quarterly prospecting plans to drive connections with new and existing customers in an effort to drive incremental sales growth. Implement tracking plans, KPIs, and reporting cadences to ensure success.
Proactively set and measure clear business objectives. Report progress to cross‑functional groups while making data‑driven decisions on enhancing effectiveness.
Manage the shipment of daily sample requests in a timely manner.
Communicate with cross‑functional teams to ensure inventory is up to date.
Create & maintain ordering processes while reporting out weekly metrics.
Oversee receiving, warehousing, inventory and distribution operations.
Implement operational policies and procedures.
Ensure safe & effective use of warehouse equipment.
Understand all ISO forms and procedures that relate directly to the position as well as understand the ISO Quality System.
Manage & distribute mass mailing sample kits as directed.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree or equivalent relevant work experience
3‑5 years of experience in B2B, lead generation, sales, or marketing highly preferred.
Knowledge of Amcor RPSNA product lines preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Power Point, and Word with an ability to adapt quickly to new software applications.
Ability to simplify, organize, present complex processes to audiences of various size groups
Forklift training helpful
