Welcome to the Patient Services Representative I (PSR I) position at Synectics. As the front‑of‑house presence, you will greet patients, answer questions, and provide compassionate care while maintaining a safe and welcoming environment.
Responsibilities
Represent the face of the company to patients who come in for health routine or life‑defining health decisions.
Greet patients upon arrival and answer any questions or concerns with care and compassion.
Maintain the integrity of the waiting area and assist with breaks when other Phlebotomists are unavailable.
Help maintain required records and documentation.
Demonstrate excellence in customer care while focusing on process skills and sensitivity to confidentiality and accuracy of patient information.
Promote a positive image to patients, clients, employees, and the public in general while demonstrating organizational commitment and a willingness to learn new skills.
Under the direction of the area supervisor, perform daily activities accurately and on time.
Maintain a safe and professional environment.
Job Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum of 1–2 years of client‑facing customer service experience (e.g., Retail, Home Health Aide, etc.).
Ability to handle patients with care and compassion while assisting with check‑ins in the lobby through either a self‑service kiosk or handheld tablet.
Willingness to learn Phlebotomy skills during downtime or breaks that need to be covered.
Once Phlebotomy skills are obtained, performance of both forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing duties following established practices and procedures.
High level of customer service experience required – this is critical to the heart of the role.
Prior Phlebotomy experience is not required.
Keyboard/data entry experience a must.
Candidate must be willing to learn Phlebotomy; those not willing to learn this skill should not apply.
Candidates need to be within a 20–25 minute commute window to the site.
This is a "Front of House" role with Phlebotomy training.
Shift/Time Zone: Monday–Friday 6 am–3 pm. Saturdays may be part of a rotation once the PSR I role is entered.
