The Work Itself

Review vehicle documentation to validate trim levels, factory‑installed options, and packages against dealer‑reported information

Analyze VIN data and compare against Dealer bookout valuations and option sheets and/or valuation and vehicle data tools

Identify discrepancies related to misrepresented options, incorrect trims, or missing equipment

Document findings clearly and concisely to support internal decision‑making and dealer follow‑up

Partner with internal teams (sales, risk, operations, compliance) to resolve vehicle content discrepancies

Support dispute resolution by providing evidence‑based analysis

Maintain accuracy and consistency while working within defined service‑level timelines

Contribute to process improvements related to vehicle verification and collateral quality

The Skills You Bring

Experience in dealership operations (parts, sales, service writing, or technician), vehicle inspection/appraisal, or auto finance collateral review required

Strong automotive knowledge, including trims, option packages, model‑year variations, and VIN decoding required

Experience with tools such as Black Book, Kelley Blue Book, J.D. Power, Cox Automotive products, Experian Automotive, or similar strongly preferred

Background in arbitration, audits, post‑sale disputes, or risk operations

Exposure to auto finance, leasing, or lender‑side operations

Skilled in using data analytics tools (SQL, Python, PowerBI/Tableau) for quality assurance and process improvement

High attention to detail with strong written documentation and communication skills

Comfortable making judgment calls and supporting decisions with data

Base Pay Range Base Pay Range: $47,840 - $75,000 USD. An individual's position in the range is determined by the specific role, the scope and responsibilities of the role, work experience, education, certification(s), training, and additional qualifications. We review internal pay, the competitive market, and business environment prior to extending an offer. Incentive Compensation: This position is eligible to participate in our annual incentive plan.
