Wedbush Securities is seeking candidates for an Investment Banking Analyst position with our Financial Institutions Real Estate (FIRE) team in our New York City office.
Responsibilities
Provide transaction support to senior bankers on a broad range of corporate finance transactions including IPOs, secondary offerings, private placements, mergers & acquisitions, leveraged buyouts and valuations.
Manage several concurrent projects and work effectively as part of a team or individually
Prepare client presentations
Perform due diligence
Financial analysis and modeling
Assist in preparation of company marketing and transaction materials
Interact with clients during presentations and deal executions
Performs other tasks and duties as required and assigned
Experience and Skills
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited University, preferably in Business or other related field
2-years' experience as an IB Analyst with a focus on Financial/Banks/Real Estate preferred, minimum of 1-year of experience required
Active 79 & 63 Licenses required to be considered for this opportunity
Excellent quantitative/math skills and agility with numbers
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to prioritize daily work flow
Requires high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
Highly proficient in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint

The reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic location. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $100,000.
