Position Summary:
The full-time Graphic Designer/Sr. Graphic Designer will work with our creative team to design direct mail (and occasionally digital assets) for our nonprofit clients. This includes developing new concepts and designing new client creative, along with implementing client edits, delivering print-ready electronic files, and other assigned tasks. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3-7 years’ experience in the nonprofit direct mail industry, be well-versed in the fundamentals of direct mail design and demonstrate strong attention to detail.
Essential Functions:
Designs direct mail letters, brochures, newsletters, promotional materials, notecards, address labels, calendars, notepads and more
Participates in concepting to develop new client creative and makes recommendations on design and format
Collaborates closely with art directors, copywriters, and account-team members
Implements clients edits, performs photo research, prepares images and layouts for print and digital assets
Checks files against printer specs and delivers print-ready electronic files to vendors
Maintains our clients’ visual standards, including branding, signatures and logos
Follows production schedules to ensure tasks are being completed on time
Provides production knowledge and troubleshoots issues
Provides general design assistance for other organizational needs upon request (i.e. presentations, charts, graphs, and special projects)
Requirements:
3-7 years of experience in the direct mail nonprofit industry, preferably in a nonprofit or agency environment
Proven-ability to manage multiple projects and overlapping deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail and accuracy are a must; proofreading skills a plus
Proficiency in the Following Required:
Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat)
Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Digital advertising, social media advertising and email specs

Remote/On-site work: This position is remote. NNE’s corporate headquarters is in Lexington, MA, and the role will emphasize East Coast time. Occasional travel to MA will be required.
