Position Overview Awholesale company based in New York, NY is seeking a highly organized and proactive Executive Sales Assistant to support senior sales leadership and help drive day-to-day sales operations. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working closely with executives, customers, and internal teams.
The Executive Sales Assistant will act as a key support partner to the sales team, helping manage schedules, coordinate sales activities, track orders, and ensure smooth communication across departments. This position requires strong organizational skills, excellent follow-up, and the ability to juggle multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct administrative and operational support to senior sales executives
Manage calendars, appointments, and meeting logistics for sales leadership
Assist with preparation for customer meetings, presentations, and line reviews
Track sales orders, pricing, and customer information to ensure accuracy and timeliness
Coordinate communication between sales, customer service, production, and logistics teams
Follow up on open action
orders, and customer requests
Help prepare sales reports, spreadsheets, and performance summaries
Maintain organized records of accounts, samples, approvals, and sales documentation
Support market appointments, showroom activity, and seasonal selling cycles as needed
Handle general administrative tasks to ensure the sales department runs efficiently
Qualifications & Skills
Strong organizational and time-management skills with exceptional attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a deadline-driven environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Comfortable working closely with senior leadership and external clients
Strong follow-through and accountability
Previous experience in wholesale, sales support, or administrative roles preferred
Bachelor’s degree a plus, but not required
