The Product Owner – M365 will oversee the full product lifecycle for Microsoft 365 applications, ensuring that each tool is aligned with business needs, user adoption goals, and upcoming product changes across the Microsoft ecosystem. This role requires deep expertise in M365 applications, roadmap planning, change management, and cross-functional collaboration. The Product Owner will track usage patterns, evaluate new features, rationalize underutilized tools, and act as the primary liaison between the organization and Microsoft. Key Responsibilities

Product Lifecycle Management

Develop and maintain strategic roadmaps for all M365 applications. Monitor user adoption, usage trends, and satisfaction across M365 tools. Evaluate upcoming changes and feature updates from Microsoft and determine organizational impact. Identify applications that can be optimized, consolidated, or retired. Prioritize high-value features and improvements to maximize business benefit. Stakeholder Collaboration & Communication

Act as the primary liaison with Microsoft regarding product updates, planning, and escalations. Partner with designers, engineers, cloud administrators, and business stakeholders to deliver product enhancements. Communicate application changes, timelines, and benefits to end users and leadership. Drive organizational change management and adoption strategies for M365 tools. Operational & Business Alignment

Oversee operational processes, governance, and financial considerations related to M365 licensing and usage. Ensure M365 applications align with business objectives and compliance requirements. Support decision-making through data analysis, insights, and performance metrics. Product Ownership & Delivery

Define product opportunities, write problem statements, and refine user stories. Prioritize and accept work delivered by development and engineering teams. Maintain documentation, product roadmaps, and feature specifications. Support Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Required Qualifications

5+ years of experience identifying product opportunities and defining product problems. Strong expertise across the Microsoft 365 ecosystem, including collaboration, productivity, communication, and security tools. Ability to drive product solutions and improvements across Microsoft cloud environments. Experience with SaaS product development and lifecycle management. Ability to blend product management with technical program management responsibilities. Strong analytical skills to assess market trends, product usage, and user needs. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Experience working cross-functionally with engineering, design, marketing, and business stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications

Experience conducting market research and competitive analysis. Knowledge of Agile methodologies and use of product development tools. Experience creating product roadmaps and detailed documentation. Strong data analysis skills and metrics-driven decision-making experience. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or related field. 3+ years of prior experience in product management (internships or junior PM roles acceptable for entry-level candidates).
