Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Industrial Services Outside Sales Representative to join our Houston team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong technical background, such as a field technician, mechanic, or similar, who has transitioned into sales or account management and can leverage existing industry relationships. Your hands‑on experience will enable you to understand client needs and promote our services effectively.

Key Responsibilities

Client engagement: Build and maintain relationships with decision‑makers in plants, refineries, petrochemical facilities, steel and paper mills, fabrication shops, and shipyards.

Sales growth: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, converting leads into revenue while promoting all Altrad Sparrows services.

Technical representation: Use your mechanical/technical expertise to address client inquiries and provide tailored solutions.

Vendor management: Ensure Altrad Sparrows is listed as an approved vendor for relevant services and products.

Market insight: Monitor industry trends and communicate opportunities to position Altrad Sparrows competitively.

CRM management: Track opportunities and maintain accurate records to maximize outreach and effectiveness.

Sales materials: Develop and maintain compelling presentations and quotations.

Revenue focus: Assist with collections and resolve customer issues to ensure satisfaction.

Strategic planning: Support budgeting and growth initiatives in collaboration with leadership.

Customer feedback: Gather insights to improve offerings and maintain high satisfaction levels.

Compliance: Uphold ethical and professional standards in all transactions.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of field technical experience (mechanical, industrial, or related trades).

Proven success in sales, account management, or business development within industrial services.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to engage with all levels of leadership.

Demonstrated ability to close deals and achieve sales targets.

Existing network within plants, refineries, or industrial sectors preferred.
