Job Title: Heavy Civil Estimator
Job Type: Full-Time | Direct-Hire
Location: Staten Island, NY 10309
Pay: Flexible
The company is one of New York City’s largest self-performing contractors, specializing in full-scope heavy civil construction—from foundation excavation and drilling to concrete superstructure and sitework—spanning both public and private projects throughout the metro area.
Requirements Required Qualifications & Experience
Minimum 10 years as an estimator with established NYC-area heavy civil contractors
Proven track record delivering complex, high-profile heavy civil projects in New York City
Hands-on expertise in:
Deep excavation and heavy Support of Excavation (SOE)
Heavy concrete (mass pours, elevated slabs, complex form-work)
Concrete on metal deck and other superstructure concrete
Pile drilling and pile driving (driven piles, drilled shafts, micro piles)
Waterproofing systems for below-grade structures
Rock excavation (controlled blasting a plus)
De-watering and groundwater control
Direct experience bidding large-scale infrastructure or transportation projects in NYC is strongly preferred
