What We Are Looking For Homes.com is hiring a digital‑focused Graphic Designer to support the SEM/SEO Performance Marketing team, animation design, and presentation decks. You will design high‑performing display ads, paid social campaigns, email/CRM assets, responsive landing page experiences, animated graphics, and presentation decks. The right candidate combines strong visual craft with performance‑oriented thinking, rapid experimentation, and a data‑informed approach to creative. You thrive on analyzing performance metrics, optimizing creative output, and scaling successful campaigns. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑moving, experiment‑driven environment where the impact of your work is visible and valued. This position is located in Arlington, VA and is in‑office Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities

Concept, design, and deliver creative for paid search, paid social, native and programmatic display ads, CRM/email campaigns, and direct‑response creative.

Develop creative variations and testing frameworks to support rapid A/B experimentation based on performance data and insights.

Produce motion assets (short‑form video / GIFs / HTML) for social and programmatic placements.

Build and maintain creative templates and platform‑specific spec guidelines for rapid iteration.

Ensure all assets meet technical requirements, brand standards, and accessibility fundamentals (e.g., alt text, legible type sizes on small ad units).

Partner with creative lead, marketing stakeholders, and channel specialists to deliver beautiful, functional, conversion‑focused creative.

Present concepts, executions, and rationale clearly, and execute final production, variation builds, and resizing.

Work in partnership with multiple advertising vendors such as Google, Microsoft, Yahoo, and Taboola to assess their supported ad formats and develop innovative creative units that optimize ad delivery.

Monitor creative performance across channels and proactively optimize assets based on data‑driven insights.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited, not‑for‑profit, in‑person university or college.

7+ years of experience designing performance marketing, growth, or direct response advertising (in‑house or agency).

Strong visual design fundamentals: typography, composition, hierarchy.

Demonstrated ability to translate a KPI or performance insight into a new creative execution.

Hands‑on experience building assets to platform technical specs (Google Ads, Meta, DV360, programmatic, email platforms) and building responsive landing pages.

Fluent in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and After Effects.

Strong written and verbal communication, and able to present and rationalize creative decisions rooted in performance outcomes.

Highly organized with the ability to manage competing priorities, ship fast, and maintain high creative standards under tight timelines.

Expert level understanding of PowerPoint, Keynote, and Google Slides.

Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics.

Must be comfortable following design direction and implementing changes, while producing high‑quality designs and meeting tight deadlines.

Advanced proficiency in creating complex animated graphics, PowerPoints and motion‑driven visual assets.

A track record of commitment to prior employers.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working with generative AI creative workflows to ethically scale variations.

Familiarity with SEO‑driven visual content (infographics, link‑building assets, etc.).

Basic HTML/CSS understanding for performance‑oriented visual executions.
