What You'll Do
We are seeking an experienced Executive Benefits Administrator to join our team! You will assist in the design consultation, issue process and administration of non-qualified plans funded by life insurance policies in the business market while promoting the importance of a properly executed plan design.
Provide administration on non-qualified plans sold in the business market. Assist in keeping the plan on track to meet the designed solutions.
Serve as focal point of contact to producers and customers for questions on non-qualified plan administration and plan design. Work to negotiate solutions to meet customer needs.
Maintain complete and accurate participant records and program files.
Provide guidance to less experienced employees.
Participate in team projects. This would include development and implementation of necessary administrate procedures and systems, designing reports and letter, and systems testing.
Build strong product knowledge and develop strong working knowledge of non-qualified plans, business marketing strategies, and illustration systems.
Who You Are
College degree or equivalent plus 3+ years related work experience.
Solid understanding of sales and marketing, policy issue, policy administration, contractual language and provisions, processes and practices, customer service delivery strategies.
General knowledge of non-qualified plans sold in the business market.
Exhibit the ability to prioritize work and maintain service standards in the face of peak times, heavy workloads, and frequent interruptions.
Exhibit quick and good judgment, excellent interpersonal skills, and accurate and detailed communication.
Able to multi-task in a fast paced environment with high accuracy and within acceptable turnaround times.
FINRA Series 6 License(s) or ability to obtain within 6 months required. Must meet firm standards for registration within applicable jurisdictions.
Due to the responsibilities of this role, candidate will be subject to a credit review.
Will be required to become a non-registered fingerprint person of the broker/dealer.
Salary Range Information Salary ranges below reflect targeted base salaries. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.
Salary Range (Non-Exempt expressed as hourly; Exempt expressed as yearly) $55,800 - $100,800 / year
Time Off Program Flexible Time Off (FTO) is provided to salaried (exempt) employees and provides the opportunity to take time away from the office with pay for vacation, personal or short-term illness. Employees don’t accrue a bank of time off under FTO and there is no set number of days provided.

Work Environments This role offers in-office, hybrid (blending at least three office days in a typical workweek), and remote work arrangements (only if residing more than 30 miles from Des Moines, IA, or Raleigh, NC or Charlotte, NC). You’ll work with your leader to figure out which option may align best based on several factors.
