Located in Palm Coast, Florida, Hammock Dunes Club is a high‑end, private, 36‑hole facility and is considered the premier 36‑hole facility in the North Florida region. Our Links Course was designed by Tom Fazio and has 18 championship holes right along the Atlantic Ocean along with a first‑class practice facility. Located just five miles away from the main clubhouse and residential community of Hammock Dunes, our Creek Course was designed by Rees Jones and is in the Long Creek Nature Preserve adjacent to the Intracoastal Waterway and has no residential development or property within the gates of the course. Both courses are consistently ranked inside the Top 50 in Florida, with the Creek Course as high as #20, and have played host to the Florida State Open, Florida State Amateur and numerous USGA qualifiers for both the US Amateur and US Open. The Links Course will play host to the 98th Florida Women's Amateur in 2027. The club has roughly 650 full golf members, plays 42,000 rounds annually, has an initiation fee of $90,000 and has been awarded "Distinguished Club - Elite" status by Boardroom Magazine. Hammock Dunes Club is looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual with a huge passion for our industry to join our team as an Assistant Golf Professional. Director of Golf, Matt Stewart, is entering his fourth year at Hammock Dunes and has over 16 years as a Director of Golf/Head Golf Professional with numerous former Assistant Professionals now in their own Head Professional, Lead Assistant Professional, and Director of Instruction Roles. Ideally, this individual will have experience at high‑end private clubs or high‑end public/resort facilities with a minimum of four years of experience preferred at similar type facilities to Hammock Dunes Club. 3 to 5 years of previous Assistant Professional experience preferred and this individual should be striving to become a Class A member of the PGA or LPGA if not a member already. This individual should have a positive attitude and ambition to learn and prepare themselves for a bright future in the golf industry. They should be career‑minded and be motivated to work and learn in an environment that will allow them to grow in the golf business. Experience in teaching, playing, tournament operations using Golf Genius is a must and the ability to perform at a high level and provide the highest levels of customer service is a plus. Essential Responsibilities

Assist the Director of Golf & Head Golf Professional in all facets of the Hammock Dunes Club Golf Operation An advocate for true golf experience as an ambassador the club, to the membership, golf staff, and community Provides leadership and communicates club's vision to staff and members alike, supporting the club's philosophy and mission Is a representative of Hammock Dunes Club, its membership, and the management team in an utmost professional manner, internally and externally and at professional events Develops systems to measure and monitor effectiveness of staff, retail management programs, proper inventory control practices, service levels, and golf related events Implement the club's policies and procedures and maintain our excellent service levels to provide a first class golf experience for members and guests Ability to interact and be involved with all parts of the club's operation and its employees Ability to develop and implement our golf business via social media, e-commerce, and other avenues of communication as it relates to merchandise, club events, lessons, clinics etc. Participates with the our entire Golf Operations team in all aspects of the golf operation, including the merchandising plan, teaching programs, and tournament operations Will be heavily involved in the club's tournament program with direct responsibilities in both promoting and conducting the club's events to the highest of standards Provide golf instruction and clinics for all levels of golfers Ability to join and become part of an exceptional golf operations team to deliver exceptional customer service levels corresponding to the Club's vision and mission statement in place Knowledge of Golf Genius Tournament Software as well as NorthStar point of sale systems and tee time reservation systems Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office programs including Microsoft Publisher Basic club repair knowledge Ability to manage all job‑related activities such as golf tournaments, pace of play, merchandising and inventory while maintaining a balanced professional life away from work Assists members, prospective members, and guests including but not limited to tee time reservations, checking in members and their guests, club information, golf rates, and club policies Ability to teach one on one lessons, group clinics, and golf camps Play golf with membership at a high level as well as representing the club in local, regional, and national golf tournaments Benefits

Vacation : Assistant Golf Professionals shall be entitled to vacation per the employee handbook. Scheduling such vacation shall be approved by the Director of Golf. Work/Life Balance : We do our best to keep to a 5‑day work week and minimum of 45 hours during our golf season (October - May) and a 4 to 5‑day work week in our off season (June - September) including having weekend days off regularly. Insurance/401K : Our Assistant Golf Professionals are entitled to Major Medical, Vision, Health and Life Insurance, short‑ & long‑term disability, as well as access to the company's 401K plan (club matches 50% up to 8% of annual gross wages). PGA Dues : All annual member dues are paid in full as well as any other dues from organizations which provide impactful benefits to the club's operation. Commission : 100% of all lessons, clinics, golf camps as well as additional income from basic club repairs. Meals : Up to 2 meals per day are provided by the club at no cost. Privileges : usage of the club and its facilities for both he/she and family. Golf course, practice facility, tennis facility, pool, and fitness center are included. Clothing/Education/Tournament Allowance : Reimbursement for continuing education as well as select tournament entries as approved by the Director of Golf and up to $1000 annually for club clothing.
