Sales Engineer

Seeking a Sales Engineer to manage technical sales for custom equipment projects, from initial inquiry through quotation. You must have an engineering background or extensive, proven OEM manufacturing sales experience to be considered. Responsibilities Act as primary contact for RFQs and technical project inquiries Meet customers onsite to define scope, take measurements, and collect technical data Review specifications, drawings, and commercial requirements Create basic sketches or layouts to communicate design intent Coordinate with internal applications, estimating, and sales support teams Work with suppliers to source and price components and buyout equipment Review quotes for technical accuracy before release Track quotes, follow up, and confirm lead times prior to PO acceptance Identify and communicate technical, scope, or commercial risks before order entry Qualifications Willing to travel 50%+ 5+ years in technical sales, custom equipment, OEM, or project-based environments (mechanical/manufacturing/process/industrial/electrical engineer background preferred) Understanding of manufacturing and material handling processes Strong workload and deadline management skills Must be authorized to work in the USA with no sponsorship needed.
