Business To Business Sales Representative
This is a great opportunity to work with a new delivery program launching in the area. You will be responsible for recruiting local businesses to join the delivery partner program. Collaborate with a Field Manager and other local contractors to visit prospective businesses, pitch the program opportunity, qualify the business, guide them through the application process, drive referrals through community organizations, and coordinate recruitment events. The role involves travel up to two hours driving distance and offers commission for partners converted. Responsibilities: Visit prospective businesses door to door in targeted towns within a two-hour driving distance. Present and pitch the new program opportunity to prospective businesses to generate interest. Qualify businesses and guide them through the application process while managing the pipeline in Salesforce. Support the Field Manager in planning and hosting recruitment events such as lunch and learns and town hall meetings. Collaborate with the Field Manager to engage with local influencers like chambers of commerce and economic development associations. Import Excel spreadsheets into Salesforce weekly. Essential Skills: 1-2 years of experience in sales and/or customer service. Experience in outside/field sales. CRM experience is required, with Salesforce preferred. Additional Skills & Qualifications: Exceptional customer service and communication skills. Experience in a role involving sales and/or negotiation with customers is a plus. Professionalism, enthusiasm to work with others, and a high sense of urgency. Attention to detail and ability to solve problems for applicants in the field. Tech-savvy with experience working with multiple systems and technology. Ability to travel up to four hours round trip daily. Work Environment: This role requires being on the road 4-5 days a week with the remainder of the time working from home. There is one headcount near Jackson, MS, and two headcounts near Hattiesburg, MS. The position offers uncapped commission and covers expenses such as phone bills and mileage. Job Type & Location: This is a Contract position based out of Canton, MS. Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $25.50 - $25.50/hr.
