Overview
We are currently seeking a Loan Officer - IT Banking (remote) for a prominent client of ours. This position is located in Santa Clara, CA (remote) . Compensation is $49/hr based on experience. The role is 100% remote and requires support of CST or EST working hours.
Responsibilities
- Reporting to the Sr. Customer Finance Director, playing a critical role in supporting presales and post‑sales deal activity for Palo Alto Networks Financial Services (PANFS).
- Supporting product sales teams on financing requests, including pricing, deal structuring, and documentation.
- Working closely with the deals desk and sales finance teams to ensure PANFS deals are structured in accordance with the company’s and PANFS’s economic expectations.
- Working closely with PANFS’s Credit and Operations Manager to ensure all PANFS transactions meet the minimum required risk profiles.
- Ensuring all PANFS transactions are processed accurately in accordance with PANFS documented policies and procedures.
- Coordinating with the company’s legal team on all non‑standard terms and conditions.
- Administering and supporting PANFS financing transactions over the entire deal life cycle.
- Acting as a bank for the company, providing payment‑plan solutions to PAN customers to acquire PAN customers.
- Supporting Financial Service Managers with negotiations and financing documents for potential customers.
- Inputting approved deals into the internal financing system attached to PAN’s SAP system.
- Using Solifi (or similar systems) to process financing deals.
Qualifications
- Strong working knowledge of the global leasing and finance industry, including accounting and revenue implications.
- Strong working knowledge of transaction structures for equipment and software financing, with relevant experience in contract administration.
- Experience with Solifi, IDS Rapport or InfoLease lease/loan system.
- Experience managing and working with banks and third‑party finance companies.
- Positive attitude and highly professional demeanor; sense of humor helps.
- Bachelor’s degree in economics, finance, or equivalent area.
- MBA preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of loan, leasing, or financing experience.
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills.
- Exceptional organization, prioritization, multi‑tasking, and time‑management skills.
- Proactive and assertive approach to managing tasks and responsibilities.
- Proficiency in Google Suite and Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to solve problems and think quickly under pressure.
- Work effectively as a collaborative team player.
- Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.
