The organization is experiencing sustained, strategic growth driven by a strong backlog, repeat clients, and disciplined project execution.
This role is ideal for a Senior Electrical Estimator who wants long-term stability, leadership visibility, and the opportunity to influence estimating strategy within a growth-oriented contractor.
Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end electrical estimating for commercial and industrial projects, including conceptual, negotiated, and hard-bid work
Prepare detailed, accurate estimates for ground-up and TI projects (commercial, industrial, and specialty scopes as applicable)
Review drawings, specifications, and bid documents to determine full project scope
Perform material takeoffs, labor analysis, equipment pricing, and subcontractor evaluations
Collaborate with preconstruction, operations, and project management teams to ensure alignment from bid through execution
Identify risk, value-engineering opportunities, and cost-saving strategies
Participate in bid reviews and present pricing strategies to senior leadership
Maintain strong relationships with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors
Support continuous improvement of estimating processes, tools, and standards
Qualifications
7+ years of electrical estimating experience (senior-level preferred)
Strong background in commercial and/or industrial electrical construction
Proficiency with estimating software such as Accubid (Classic, Anywhere, or Enterprise) or similar platforms
Solid understanding of labor units, productivity, and market pricing in the Houston / Texas market
Ability to independently manage large and complex estimates
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Experience working closely with ownership or executive leadership is a plus
