Account Manager (Service & Marketing):
Opportunity to join high performing insurance service team supporting the construction industry. We help contractors build with confidence through a partnership of risk management and risk transfer. We are a team that works to support our clients, one another, and our community.
Provide quality customer service to clients while managing client data files in AMS, assist producers in protecting clients assets. In addition to assisting Agent with accurate representation of client's operation and assets in providing completed application to appropriate carriers for the purpose of placing new and/or renewal business.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Processes Related To Marketing Responsibilities
Process/Maintain Expiration Lists
Prepare and/or Update Submission Applications in AMS
Setup Submission Files in Marketing Folder
Order Loss runs
Order MVRs
Create/Update Supplemental Applications
Be Familiar with Carrier Preferences
Review Application for Adequate Insurance & Submit to assigned carriers
Rate Online with Assigned Carriers
Negotiate Pricing
Review Quotes with Agent/Team
Create Proposals
Bind Coverage with Carrier
Notify Carriers regarding outcome of quotes
Order Renewals from Existing Carrier
Prepare Premium Finance Agreements
Assist with Bonds
Control AMS Producer Codes & Maintain Data Integrity
Close Submissions
Create Policies
Generate Professional Correspondence
Maintain Suspenses
Maintain Carrier Files
Maintain Loss Run Database
Processes Related To Service Responsibilities
Oversee Client Account for Adequate Insurance
Discuss all aspects of Property and Casualty insurance with clients and underwriters by phone and in person as necessary.
Control Renewals
Meet with Agents & Team as needed
Order renewal coverage from existing carrier if not submitted for marketing
Control AMS Producer Codes & Maintain Data Integrity
Process Invoices
Prepare Premium Finance Contracts
Create Summary of Insurance
Check policies for accuracy and compliance with requested coverage
Review policy for gaps in coverage exclusions
Prepare Policies for Delivery to Clients
Order and Process Change Requests/Verifications
Review and Process Endorsements
Issue Certificates of Insurance and/or Evidence of Property Insurance
Print Daily Activity Reports
Generate Routine Correspondence
Manage/Maintain AMS Suspense System
Assist with Bonds
Assist with premium collection/billing
Assist with office needs
Qualifications

EDUCATION And/or EXPERIENCE
All: College degree; or two to three years related insurance experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must be proficient with Outlook and Microsoft computer programs.
Account Managers, Production Managers and Executive Managers must participate in seminars/classes for knowledge, skill development and continuing education as required by the Department of Insurance.
Language Skills
Account Managers, Production Managers and Executive Managers who transact insurance must possess the ability to read and interpret insurance policies. Must be able to read and comprehend procedure manuals, correspondence, memos and compose professional emails relative correspondence. Ability to effectively present information one-on-one by phone and/or small group situations to clients, agents, managers and other employees of the organization.
REASONING ABILITY
All must be able to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Account Managers, Production Managers, Executive Managers who transact insurance must have and maintain an active Property and Casualty Insurance License or Accident & Health Insurance license as required for appropriate lines of insurance.
