Role Overview As a Sales Executive for CoStar for Lenders, you will expand our strategic relationships with existing and prospective commercial real estate lenders. You’ll help lenders make smarter decisions with powerful data and insights, thriving in a high‑performance culture that encourages ambition, collaboration, and rewards exceptional effort.

Key Responsibilities

New Business Development: Identify and close new sales opportunities by demonstrating the value of our SaaS, data, and information services tailored for commercial real‑estate lenders and financial institutions.

Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long‑term relationships with CRE lending clients, ensuring exceptional service and identifying opportunities for expansion.

Territory Engagement: Travel within the assigned region to meet clients and prospects face‑to‑face, building trust and delivering product value.

Strategic Collaboration: Work closely with internal stakeholders and local field sales teams to align on client goals, ensuring seamless execution and maximizing client satisfaction.

Market Expertise: Develop deep knowledge of CoStar for Lender’s solutions and the commercial real‑estate lending space to position yourself as a trusted advisor.

Sales Execution: Own the full sales cycle—from prospecting and demos to closing, onboarding, training, and renewals—driving growth and exceeding revenue targets.

Basic Qualifications

4–8 years of solution‑selling experience, successfully owning the full sales cycle from prospect to close.

Experience selling SaaS solutions to banks and financial institutions.

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited, non‑profit, in‑person college or university.

Track record of commitment and results with prior employers.

Willingness and ability to travel regularly to client and prospect locations.

Experience with complex sales processes and diagnostic selling.

Proactive, curious, and eager to work in a fast‑paced environment.

Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record check.

Preferred Qualifications

Strong technical skillset and understanding of risk concepts, selling into target companies’ headquarters.

Experience selling real‑estate data and SaaS solutions to large organizations with sophisticated buying processes.

Knowledge of economic and risk models, banking regulations, stress testing, and compliance reporting.

Ability to manage data integration discussions and showcase value to clients.
