We are seeking a skilled and collaborative Instructional Designer to design, develop, and deliver engaging learning solutions that support organizational performance and employee development. This role partners closely with business stakeholders, subject matter experts, and training teams to create high‑impact learning experiences across instructor‑led, virtual, and self‑paced environments. The ideal candidate brings strong expertise in adult learning theory, instructional design methodologies, and eLearning development, along with the ability to translate complex information into clear, engaging, and measurable learning outcomes. This position operates with a high degree of autonomy while contributing to cross‑functional instructional design initiatives. Key Responsibilities

Plan and manage instructional design projects with multiple deliverables, timelines, and stakeholders Collaborate with trainers, SMEs, and business leaders to analyze learning needs and define learning objectives Design and develop classroom, virtual (VILT), and self‑paced eLearning content that drives measurable performance improvement Convert instructor‑led training (ILT) into effective self‑paced digital learning experiences Develop curricula using ADDIE, SAM, or blended instructional design models Create engaging learning materials including courses, simulations, training games, graphics, and job aids Build, edit, and manage learning activities within the Learning Management System (LMS), including assignments and reporting Evaluate learning effectiveness through assessments, analytics, and course evaluations; integrate feedback into continuous improvements Advise trainers and stakeholders on course evaluation results and instructional improvements Train internal team members on effective use of classroom, virtual, and digital learning materials Present learning solutions and recommendations to stakeholders, including leadership Maintain and refresh learning content throughout its lifecycle to align with evolving business needs Required Skills / Education

2–4 years of experience in instructional design, curriculum development, or a related field Advanced knowledge of Instructional Design methodologies (ADDIE, SAM) and Adult Learning Theory Strong eLearning design and development experience Proficiency with Articulate Rise and Articulate Storyline Experience creating and editing LMS content and reports Demonstrated ability to evaluate learning effectiveness and instructional outcomes Strong visual design, content development, and information organization skills Ability to research, synthesize, and present complex information clearly and concisely Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills in a fast‑paced environment Effective written and verbal communication skills across all organizational levels Proficiency with presentation, word processing, and spreadsheet tools Ability to adapt to changing priorities and fluctuating workloads Collaborative mindset with strong stakeholder engagement skills About Seneca Resources
