Graphic Designer About the Job The Graphic Designer supports brand visibility, marketing effectiveness, and visual consistency for Summit Integrated Systems through the creation of high-quality graphic and visual assets. This role focuses on translating marketing strategies, campaigns, and messaging into compelling designs across digital, print, and event-based channels.

The Graphic Designer partners closely with the Creative Marketing Manager and Digital Content Creator/Video Specialist to ensure all visual materials align with Summit’s brand standards, marketing objectives, and storytelling approach, while maintaining a high level of craftsmanship and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Create high-quality graphic and visual assets that support Summit’s marketing strategies and brand objectives. Design layouts and graphics for digital campaigns, sales collateral, presentations, advertisements, social media, email marketing, signage, and internal communications.

Translate creative direction, campaign goals, and messaging provided by the Creative Marketing Manager into effective visual concepts. Contribute design ideas and solutions that enhance storytelling and audience engagement while remaining aligned with established brand standards.

Maintain consistent application of Summit’s brand guidelines across all design work. Review and refine designs to ensure clarity, visual consistency, and alignment with marketing strategies and business objectives. Ensure accuracy in typography, color usage, imagery, and layout prior to final delivery.

Work closely with the Creative Marketing Manager to support marketing initiatives and campaign execution. Collaborate with the Digital Content Creator/Video Specialist to ensure cohesive visual alignment between static and motion-based content. Partner with Sales, Marketing, and other internal teams to deliver effective visual solutions.

Design and update graphics for websites, landing pages, and digital platforms. Assist with basic UI elements and visual updates as directed. Optimize graphic assets for various platforms, formats, and screen sizes to ensure optimal performance and presentation.

Manage multiple design projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining quality standards. Organize, store, and maintain creative assets, templates, and working files. Track revisions and maintain version control to support efficient collaboration and accurate output.

Stay current with design trends, tools, and best practices. Identify opportunities to improve design workflows, templates, and visual systems. Proactively contribute ideas that enhance Summit’s brand presence and overall marketing effectiveness.

Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Film Production, Digital Media, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.

Typically requires 2-4 years of professional experience in graphic design, visual communications, or a related creative role, or an equivalent combination of education and demonstrated skills.

Demonstrated experience producing digital and print design assets for marketing or brand initiatives through a portfolio of marketing or brand work. Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, Google Suite. Experience with professional design tools and workflows.

Preferred: Experience supporting integrated marketing campaigns. Familiarity with basic UI/web design concepts. Experience working in a collaborative, cross-functional environment. Exposure to event marketing or large-format print production

Working Conditions

Long periods of sitting/standing at a desk.

Ability to lift or otherwise move moderate weight (such as a box of paper).

Hand movement including repetitive motions, grasping, holding, finger dexterity and rotation of the wrist. Reading and writing.

Near visual acuity and color differentiation.

This position requires the ability to travel to various locations, including out of state.

This position is commonly exposed to inside work, fluorescent lights, concrete floors, computer monitors and screens. Working conditions typical of an office environment.

Work Location In person, at our headquarters in Colorado. But requires the ability to travel to various locations, including out of state.

Salary Starting at $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year, based on experience

Full-time - Minimum 40hrs per week

Travel may be required up to 50% of the time, with travel days and hours subject to fluctuation based on project demands. Availability for work is required seven days per week, from Monday through Sunday.

Monday–Friday 8am-5pm MT
