is hiring an experienced Regional (Outside) Sales Representative (OSR) with a hunter's mentality and a proven track record in industrial markets, preferably oil and gas.

The Regional Outside Sales Representative (OSR) will be based within the

Permian Basin Southwestern Texas Region

(Abilene, Midland, Big Spring, San Angelo, Odessa, Lubbock, or surrounding communities) and will drive growth across existing accounts and new market segments. This Regional Outside Sales Representative (OSR)

will travel 50%–75% of the time , meet clients at job sites, present solutions, negotiate pricing, and close business, while partnering with management on positioning and expansion of Wifco’s manufacturing capabilities.

Plans and implements sales and product development programs, both short and long range, targeted toward existing and new markets by performing the following duties:

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop and execute territory strategies, forecasts, and outside sales plans to hit and exceed corporate revenue goals as a Regional Outside Sales Representative (OSR).

Conduct frequent field visits ( 50%–75% travel ) to meet existing and prospective customers; deliver proposals, negotiate, and close as a Regional Outside Sales Representative (OSR).

Identify upsell, cross-sell, and new product opportunities grounded in market analysis and customer feedback as a Regional Outside Sales Representative (OSR).

Collaborate with leadership to shape product positioning and pricing; prepare quotes, contracts, and accurate order entry.

Maintain a high-activity cadence by responding to inbound inquiries, running outbound prospecting, following up on leads, and building a strong pipeline as a Regional Outside Sales Representative (OSR).

Plan and participate in trade shows, conferences, and association events to expand product awareness and reinforce a consistent corporate image.

Monitor competitors and industry trends; adjust territory tactics and messaging to evolving market conditions as a Regional Outside Sales Representative (OSR).

Build and sustain long‑term relationships with key influencers, strategic partners, and customers; support repeat business and account expansion.

Produce regular sales reports on volume, win rates, pipeline health, and territory expansion; review performance against goals and plans as a Regional Outside Sales Representative (OSR).

Maintain current knowledge of all products, pricing, timelines, and development updates; ensure clean CRM/ERP administrative documentation.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree in a related field or 5–10 years of equivalent manufacturing‑industry experience preferred for a Regional Outside Sales Representative (OSR).

Minimum 5 years of outside B2B sales with a proven track record; oil and gas experience preferred for a Regional Outside Sales Representative (OSR).

Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills; professional demeanor and people skills suited to a Regional Outside Sales Representative (OSR).

Organized, detail‑oriented, and self‑motivated; effective time management and multitasking under minimal supervision.

Demonstrated ability to solve practical problems and resolve customer issues; capable of handling confidential information appropriately.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office; comfortable with CRM and ERP remote work tools as a Regional Outside Sales Representative (OSR).

Valid driver’s license and good driving record.

Knowledge of manufacturing concepts, practices, and procedures; able to translate technical capabilities into customer value as a Regional Outside Sales Representative (OSR).

SALARY AND BENEFITS

Competitive compensation package with performance incentives/commission aligned to a Regional Outside Sales Representative (OSR) role.

Travel requirement:

50% expected ; up to

75% preferred ; occasional overnight travel

25%–50%

depending on remote locations.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS / WORK ENVIRONMENT The physical demands described represent those that an employee must meet to perform the essential functions of this job successfully.

Regularly required to talk and hear; frequent sitting, standing, climbing; consistent hand/finger dexterity and computer use.

Field exposure to production floors and customer sites; PPE (safety glasses/helmets) required; seasonal heat/cold may be present.

As a Regional Outside Sales Representative, must be comfortable navigating industrial environments safely and professionally.
