About the Role Clark Wood is a specialist Recruitment Consultancy operating throughout the United Kingdom within the Public Practice Accountancy & Tax sectors. Our core client base consists of Accountancy Practices ranging from Big 4, Top 10 & Mid‑Tier firms through to independent regional firms and sole traders.
Specialist Accountancy Practice recruitment consultancy, Clark Wood, are delighted to be working with this leading independent firm of chartered accountants in Chester as they are looking to add an Audit & Accounts Client Manager to their successful and growing team.
This highly reputable and progressive firm have an excellent presence across the area, and as a result of sustained growth and success, they are now keen to add a personable and professional Audit & Accounts Manager who can help to enhance their excellent reputation.
Responsibilities
Work directly with Partners and manage a varied portfolio of clients from a broad range of industry sectors.
Ensure provision of services to each client and maintain excellent levels of service and client satisfaction.
Manage the audit process from planning through to completion, ensuring the deployment of appropriate staff levels for each assignment.
Review year‑end accounts prepared by team members, ensuring compliance with all relevant accounting standards before they go out to clients.
Contribute to the day‑to‑day management and training of staff, including involvement with staff reviews throughout the year.
Possibly involve in business development activities, presenting to new and existing clients with a view to winning new business.
Qualifications
ACA / ACCA qualified.
Rich audit experience from an established practice background.
Previous staff management experience.
