As a Public Sector Account Manager you will have the exciting opportunity to help drive the growth and shape the future of an emerging technology. Due to the rapid growth of AWS adoption in Chile's Public Sector and our commitment to deepening relationships with government entities, we are expanding our team with this critical role. This presents a unique opportunity for you to be at the forefront of cloud transformation in the public sector, working directly with high-level government decision-makers to drive meaningful digital innovation. You'll have the autonomy to shape account strategies, build executive relationships from the ground up, and directly influence the technological future of Chile's public institutions while advancing your career in one of the fastest-growing segments of AWS.
Key job responsibilities
Drive revenue and market share in a defined account list or industry vertical.
Meet or exceed quarterly revenue targets.
Develop and execute against a comprehensive account/territory plan.
Work with partners to extend reach & drive adoption.
Develop long-term strategic relationships with key accounts.

Basic Qualifications
Experience in a customer-facing role, engaging with customer executives, technologists or partners to solve business problems with advanced technologies
Speak, write, and read fluently in English, and have the ability to take direction in English
Experience in technology-related sales, business development, or sales engineering/consulting
5+ years of technology/software sales experience
Experience working with Chilean public sector institutions
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with AWS and technology as a service (IaaS, SaaS, PaaS)
7+ years of public sector business, public sector policy, government relations, or related fields experience
