Our Client, multinational mass media and entertainment company, is looking for someone to join their team as a Staff Product Designer!
**This is a remote 2-month contract with a possible extension in Washington, D.C.**
Required Skills &Experience
- Must have a design portfolio demonstrating strong UX and visual design solutions, with an emphasis on identifying and meaningfully solving true user problems.
- Must have 6+ years of professional experience, specifically as a Product Designer of direct-to-consumer applications.
- Must have extensive experience in responsive web-based design and delivery (video/audio or streaming background preferred but not essential).
- Must have masterful Figma skills including a solid understanding of Design Systems/Design Kits and prototyping.
Responsibilities
- Leads & executes across all phases of the design process from conception to implementation, including wireframing, prototyping, and visual design.
- Plans & executes user research and gathers qualitative data to help build hypothesis & design recommendations.
- Frequently partners and collaborates with internal stakeholder leads (Product Management, Engineering etc.) to ensure consistency with broader product and company goals.
- Strong and demonstrated understanding of design processes and best practices.
- Proactively identifies and provides thoughtful solutions to complex design problems.
- May review work and provide direction to more junior level staff.
