Audit & Accounts Senior – Shrewsbury
Clark Wood are working with a well‑established and highly regarded firm of Chartered Accountants in Shrewsbury who are looking to recruit an Audit & Accounts Senior to join their growing team.

Responsibilities
Prepare and review statutory accounts.
Manage tax compliance work.
Lead audit assignments from planning through to completion, including supervising fieldwork and ensuring assignments are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
Conduct audit planning, risk assessments, and discussions around audit strategy and fraud considerations.
Liaise directly with clients, building strong professional relationships.
Support and mentor junior members of the team, helping to develop their technical skills and confidence.
Qualifications
ACA or ACCA qualified (or nearing qualification).
Recent experience in a mixed audit and accounts role within an accountancy practice.
Proven experience leading audit assignments and strong technical knowledge.
Good communication and organisational skills.
