Assistant Superintendent

Rochester Golf and Country Club is seeking an Assistant Golf Course Superintendent who prioritizes team development and well-being, brings a strong passion for golf and agronomy, and desires to be part of a club with a vision to grow into one of Minnesota’s premier clubs.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, helping to foster a positive culture built on teamwork, attention to agronomic detail, and active engagement.

Golf Rounds: 19,000 (April- November)

Annual Grounds Budget - $1.1M

Grass Types:

Greens: 007 XL Bentgrass

Fairways: 007XL Bentgrass

Tees: Dominant Extreme Bentgrass

Irrigation System: 2018; Toro Lynx 2 wire, Infinity sprinklers, HDPE pipe

Equipment: Toro/John Deere, a mix of owned and leased

Maintenance Team: 4 full-time, 15-20 seasonal

Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times

Assist with planning, training, and directing maintenance staff

Ability to safely perform snow removal operations as required

Proficiency with computer hardware and software related to applications, equipment, and golf course maintenance operations
