About The Role
Brinqa has an immediate need for a Senior Technical Writer to assist in developing risk management solutions as part of our Cybersecurity Knowledge Platform. We are looking for a technical writer to work closely with engineering teams, Product Managers, and Product Owners to develop documentation needed by Brinqa users to manage their cyber risk. Members of our team enjoy a collaborative work environment, delivering features and improvements of real value to real customers. In this role, you will be responsible for developing both online and offline documentation for customers, partners, and internal teams. You will collaborate with editors and other members of the technical staff to ensure that your writers produce the highest quality content possible.

What You'll Do
- Create and maintain high-quality documentation for Brinqa's Cyber Risk Management platform, including user guides, API documentation, release notes, knowledge base articles, and in-product help.
- Translate cybersecurity and risk management concepts into clear, concise, and user-friendly content that enables customers to understand and maximize Brinqa's solutions.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, customer success, and support teams to gather requirements and ensure accuracy of all documentation.
- Structure and organize content to improve discoverability, usability, and consistency across Brinqa's documentation library.
- Continuously update and refine documentation in line with product releases, ensuring alignment with Brinqa's security standards and style guidelines.
- Gather feedback from internal stakeholders and customers to identify gaps and improve content clarity and effectiveness.
- Champion processes that support team-led work planning, value delivery, and predictable execution
What You'll Need
- 5+ years of experience in technical writing for software or SaaS products, with at least 2 years in a senior or lead capacity.
- Proven ability to write for technical audiences, translating cybersecurity and enterprise risk concepts into clear, actionable guidance.
- Expertise with modern documentation workflows and tools (e.g., Docusaurus, Markdown, Git/GitHub, Confluence, static site generators, or equivalent).
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams in agile environments, balancing competing priorities with strong organizational skills.
- Solid understanding IT infrastructure.
- Strong editorial judgment with the ability to set and maintain high standards for accuracy, clarity, and consistency.
- Bachelor's degree in English, communications, business administration, technical writing, or equivalent.
And Ideally
- Domain expertise in vulnerability management, asset and identity management, or risk-based security practices.
- Background in information architecture, structured authoring, or content strategy for large-scale documentation systems.
- Experience measuring documentation impact and using analytics or feedback loops to improve content quality.
- Leadership qualities with the ability to influence stakeholders, champion documentation priorities, and elevate the role of content across the organization.
- Comfort working in fast-paced, agile environments.
- Curiosity, adaptability, and a growth mindsetalways looking for ways to improve both your craft and the customer experience.
- Master's or Advanced Degree in English, communications, business administration, technical writing, or equivalent.
