Job Summary
Work Study staff with Accessibility & Disability Services support the daily operations of the ADS office, helping to ensure a welcoming and accessible experience for students. This role involves front desk reception, clerical support, event assistance, and collaboration with staff and service providers. Essential Duties & Responsibilities & Knowledge Skills & Abilities
Greet and assist students, staff, and visitors at the front desk
Schedule appointments, answer phone calls, and manage data entry
Assist with planning and executing department events and outreach activities
Provide general support to ADS staff and contracted service providers
Maintain organized records and contribute to efficient office operations
Support campus-wide efforts to improve access for students with disabilities Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma required Must be approved for Federal Work Study Preferred Qualifications
Bi-lingual preferred Strong interpersonal and communication skills Experience working with the public Having worked directly with people with disabilities Some college preferred 1 year of office, reception, or customer service experience Experience handling confidential information Salt Lake Community College is Utah's largest open-access college in the state.
