About the Team
The Ad Sales Strategy and Operations team drives strategic initiatives in partnership with cross‑functional teams to grow revenue efficiently. The team builds processes, workflows, tools, and dashboards that enable sales to perform at peak efficiency.
About the Role
As a Senior Associate in Ad Sales Intelligence, your primary remit is to build SQL queries, data visualization dashboards, and custom reports for the Ads & Promos sales and product teams. You will investigate data assets, map data sources, and build elegant and performant queries that support analytical and operational needs of the business. You’ll then transform these queries into rich visual dashboards built with scale and efficiency in mind, capable of supporting a sales team of 100+ sellers and billions in revenue. You will report into the Senior Manager of Ad Sales Strategy & Operations on our broader Sales Efficiency team. We expect this role to be remote with quarterly travel for in‑person meetings and team gatherings.
What You'll Do
- Research – comb large repositories of data tables to identify where the target data and metrics can be found.
- Experiment – work iteratively to establish the right methods for deriving accurate figures, testing and comparing to other known sources of truth.
- Build – establish “Source of Truth” queries and implement ETL loads to power internal revenue reporting.
- Design – turn your data queries into rich visuals that illustrate business performance and highlight revenue trends and risks.
- Deploy – create documentation for dashboard usage and navigation, and play a pivotal role in training the sales teams.
- Support – oversee and respond to inbound questions and discrepancy reports, investigating root causes and providing fixes and clarifications where needed.
What We’re Excited About You
- 1+ years of experience in Revenue Analytics, Revenue Operations, Sales Strategy & Operations, or a generalist role with a track record of owning revenue metrics and working with sales teams.
- Fluent in SQL and experienced building dashboards in at least one data visualization platform (Tableau, Power BI, Sigma Computing, etc.).
- Strong analytical skills and enthusiasm for analytics and data visualization; pride in writing elegant, easy‑to‑follow queries.
- Comfortable solving ambiguous problems and managing multiple priorities across a wide stakeholder group.
