This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with a strong background in engineering services, product development, and consultative sales. You will be at the forefront of shaping and executing sales strategies, building client relationships, and delivering innovative solutions that transform the medical device landscape./ph3Key Responsibilities/h3ulliDevelop and execute a robust sales strategy and pipeline generation plan tailored to the Medical Device RD sector./liliHandle a portfolio of IoT programs, establish and run governance with client collaborators, and run financial and demand forecasts across their portfolio. Also drive continuous improvements resulting in client value benefits and client strategy to drive growth./liliPL role Responsible for both top line bottom-line growth./liliLead end-to-end sales, solutioning, and client relationship management within the Life Sciences vertical./liliCultivate and manage key stakeholder relationshipsboth client-side and internally across Cognizant teams./liliOwn and evolve account plans, focusing on deepening existing client engagements and identifying strategic new opportunities./liliDrive proactive proposal development and manage RFP responses aligned with account strategy./liliCollaborate with internal leadership to co-create and deliver impactful solutions./liliMeet and exceed annual revenue and profitability targets./liliOperate effectively within a matrixed organisation, managing prospecting and broader sales objectives./liliPartner with industry vertical teams to build and sustain long-term executive-level relationships./liliLead and participate in the complete sales lifecyclefrom opportunity identification to closure./liliEnsure seamless demand fulfilment by coordinating with HR, Operations, and global delivery teams (Offshore/Nearshore)./li/ulh3Qualifications Experience/h3ulliMinimum 14 years of experience, with at least 10 years in business development or sales roles within Product Engineering, Industrial Automation, or Manufacturing domains./liliShould have industry relationships in Bio Pharma and Med Tech sales experience market leadership, relationship management, and a track record of achieving both Revenue and TCV targets./liliProven success in managing large-scale consulting engagements./liliDeep domain expertise in Medical Device Manufacturing, Smart Product Development, and RD Engineering./liliStrong understanding of the full product development lifecycle for medical devices and related manufacturing products./liliTechnical proficiency in Product and RD Engineering Services, with a consultative approach to solving complex business challenges./liliDemonstrated experience in selling Engineering Services or to RD divisions within the Life Sciences sector./liliExceptional communication, executive presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills./liliAbility to engage with senior client stakeholders, including Product RD Leaders, Manufacturing Process Heads, and C-suite executives./liliFamiliarity with regulatory environments such as GxP is preferred./liliIn-depth knowledge of emerging technologies including Embedded Software Engineering, Edge Intelligence, Device Engineering, PLM, Mesh Networking, WiFi, and technology migrations./liliBachelors degree in Engineering or a related technical field./li/ulh3Salary and Other Compensation:/h3pThe annual salary for this position is between $160,000 to $175,000+ depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
