Role Description This is a full-time hybrid role for a Mortgage Loan Officer based in the Detroit Metropolitan Area, with opportunities to work from home. The Mortgage Loan Officer will be responsible for assisting clients with mortgage applications, evaluating financial documents, and providing guidance throughout the loan process. Daily activities include developing and maintaining strong client relationships, assessing financial eligibility and loan approval, working with underwriters, and ensuring compliance with all federal and state regulations related to mortgage lending.
Qualifications
Experience and knowledge related to Loan Officers, Mortgage Industry, and Mortgage Lending
Familiarity with the underwriting process and ability to review financial documentation
Strong skills in Customer Service to provide excellent client support and maintain client satisfaction
Strong organizational, analytical, and problem‑solving skills
Proficiency in relevant software and tools used in mortgage processing
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or related field is preferred but not required
Compliance awareness and knowledge of federal and state regulations within the mortgage industry
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
