Description Amazon Grocery is seeking a dynamic PR professional to support Whole Foods Market (WFM), highlighting our business growth, products, and industry differentiation and expertise while protecting brand reputation. You'll develop strategic communications that elevate our brand story and thought leaders through compelling storytelling and strong media relationships. The ideal candidate combines exceptional writing skills with a passion for food.

Key job responsibilities

Develop and execute proactive PR strategies for evergreen storytelling and major company announcements

Drive proactive strategy and pitching around key initiatives including the Local and Emerging Brands Program (LEAP)

Identify and highlight WFM experts across store and merchandise teams in media coverage

Support supplier storytelling and collaboration on key launch campaigns, events, and press trips

Basic Qualifications

5+ years of recent professional communications or public relations experience

Bachelor's degree

Preferred Qualifications

Experience that includes strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities

Experience in a creative role understanding consumer trends and creating content

Experience communicating complex concepts clearly and persuasively to different audiences

Experience prioritizing and delivering projects on time in a fast-moving environment

Can work proactively and independently, meet deadlines, and deliver on projects and tasks

Experience working effectively across cross-functional teams and partnering well with people at all levels within an organization

Experience leading creative development of innovative creative from concept to delivery

Experience building and cultivating relationships with internal and external stakeholders

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $68,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $147,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
