THE OPPORTUNITY As Senior Manager, Strategy Insights and Analytics, you will operate as a strategic integrator who translates ambiguity into insight and action. This role partners closely with senior strategy and marketing leaders and cross-functional teams to shape portfolio, franchise, and commercial decisions through analytics, forecasting, competitive intelligence, and market research.
This role will be at our Lake Forest, Illinois location.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Serve as a strategic thought partner to the Global Strategy, Insights & Analytics lead, shaping long-range (5- year) strategy and near-term (1- year) franchise and commercial priorities.
Drive the strategic planning processes by framing critical business questions, integrating market, customer, and competitive inputs, and translating ambiguity into clear strategic choices and trade-offs.
Lead competitive insights, strategy and activation, including wargames and ongoing competitive forums with cross-functional teams and senior leaders.
Own and integrate insights for innovation platforms and strategic initiatives, bringing together market landscape, customer insights, competitive intelligence, and market and sales forecasts to inform portfolio, development, and commercial decisions:
Design and govern market research; Execute via external vendors and ensure rigor and relevance; Transform vendor-delivered outputs into decision-ready insights and executive-ready presentations
Execute hands‑on analysis selectively for high-impact needs
Build and maintain market models, forecasts, and scenario planning
Operate with maturity in high‑pressure, matrixed environments, influencing senior stakeholders, navigating organizational dynamics, and strengthening strategic capability and team culture through collaboration and coaching.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE YOU’LL BRING Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Engineering, Math, Finance, Economics and related field
Management Consulting or Corporate experience in relevant industries, such as: diagnostics, medical device, pharmaceutical and biotech, healthcare, healthcare plans, consumer health
Minimal 7-8 years of relevant professional experience; Or 5-6 years with an advanced degree
Demonstrated expertise in strategic planning, market and sales forecasting, data analytics, competitive intelligence, and applied market research
Matrixed / multi‑stakeholder organizational experience. Ability to influence senior leaders and lead cross‑functional teams through clear thinking, structured analysis, and concise storytelling
Action‑oriented, resilient, and comfortable taking initiative under pressure
Preferred Qualifications
MBA or Master’s degree
Experience managing or mentoring others
Global experience working across time zones and cultures

The base pay for this position is $129,300.00 – $258,700.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
