Job Purpose Designs and produces graphic art and visual materials for print and digital media. Ensures that layout and design are aligned with brand and production standards and follow best practices. Creates and executes design solutions and collateral used for marketing, advertising, sales, and other forms of communication. Coordinates with cross‑functional stakeholders and external agencies to conceptualize and deliver projects on time and budget. Experienced using a variety of design and editing tools and software such as Adobe Illustrator. Knowledge of color, composition, typography, digital design, working in layers, separations and production management is required. The Graphic Designer is expected to embody and actively contribute to a positive and engaging company culture.
Main Responsibilities
Product Packaging:
Ensure that consumer‑facing product packaging is clear, distinctive on shelf, and connects to the primary jobs for which they are purchased. Employ an intuitive navigation system that provides visual impact. Consider secondary packaging (outer cases, club multi‑packs and display units) as part of the consumer interface and influence the navigation and purchase decisions. Maintain compliance for all mandatories on pack. Prepare and execute new product packaging consistent with internal cross‑functional and launch timelines to support innovation goals and provide visual support materials for field sales as required.
Branding Guidelines:
Manage and ensure general compliance with branding guidelines including logos, colors, registration marks, fonts and key visuals for primary marketing activation efforts. Work closely with the marketing team on key projects to achieve adherence and self‑sufficiency.
Digital Asset Creation:
Support e‑commerce needs with banners and other asset creation. Support inter‑departmental needs for events and initiatives. Achieve fluency in rapid execution on new ideas and refinements of existing ideas.
Qualifications/Required Skills
Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in a design, communications or business‑related field. Three plus years’ experience in graphic design, creative principles and/or brand building. Ability to apply branding elements in multi‑channel marketing activations and demonstrate consistent use of the Idahoan brand. Fundamental understanding of color space (RGB/CMYK/PMS/Spot color) is essential.
Language Skills:
English.
Computer Skills:
Microsoft Office. Advanced skills using Photoshop, Illustrator, and Adobe Creative Suite/Adobe Creative Cloud. Some knowledge of 3D modeling/rendering is a plus. Ability to integrate AI‑driven creative tools into day‑to‑day design work, stay informed about new developments in generative design technologies, and recommend opportunities to incorporate AI to improve speed, consistency, and creative output.
Physical Demands:
The position is located in a corporate business office environment with moderate noise levels and requires sitting at a desk for extended periods and walking from point to point.
