We are looking for a

Cocktail Server to join the re-opening of the famed

Delano Miami Beach .

Set to open its doors in early 2026, Delano Miami Beach will fuse historic charm with contemporary luxury, reflecting a reimagined experience that pays homage to the original visionary concept. Comprising 171 rooms and distinct food and beverage concepts, the hotel will preserve its iconic walk-in pool and, in addition, unveil a new pool on an amenity deck, offering breathtaking views of the ocean. Delano Miami Beach will act as the brand’s flagship location, re-establishing Delano as a trailblazer in luxury lifestyle hospitality.

Job Description JOB OVERVIEW

Under the general guidance of the Bar Manager, the Cocktail Server is responsible for delivering an elevated beverage experience by providing attentive, polished, and engaging service to guests in a fast-paced, high-energy environment. This role requires strong product knowledge, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to anticipate guest needs while maintaining the highest standards of service, presentation, and professionalism.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Greet guests promptly and warmly, creating an inviting and engaging atmosphere.

Present menus and provide knowledgeable recommendations on cocktails, spirits, wine, and beer

Accurately take beverage orders and enter them into the POS system

Deliver cocktails and beverages efficiently while ensuring proper presentation and quality.

Monitor guest satisfaction throughout service and proactively address needs or concerns

Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned service areas, including tables and stations

Adhere to all alcohol service laws, safety regulations, and company policies.

Collaborate closely with bartenders and support staff to ensure seamless service flow

Process payments accurately and handle cash and credit transactions responsibly.

Upsell premium beverages and specialty cocktails when appropriate

Maintain a polished appearance and professional demeanor at all times.

We recognize we are in the hospitality industry and that may require us to provide lateral service.

We will on occasion call for each individual on the team to perform various related tasks as needed in the spirit of providing exceptional guest service.

Qualifications

Previous cokctail serving or high volume food and beverage experience preferred

Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wine and beer.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Exceptional attention to detail and service standards.

Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Ability to multitask, work in a fast-paced environment and have a high-level attention to detail

Maintain positive and productive working relationships with other team members and departments

Ability to work independently and to partner with others to promote an environment of teamwork

Must be able to stand or walk a minimum eight-hour shift

Must be able to twist, tow (push or pull), reach, bend climb and carry objects as necessary

Must have excellent communication skills and be able to read, write, speak and understand English

Must be able to work inside and outside at all times of the year as needed, based upon business volumes
