We're looking for a

Donor Relations Coordinator

who sees fundraising as relationship-building, not transactions. You'll be the architect of our donor journey—creating systems that help people feel genuinely connected to our mission while building long-term relationships with the individuals and businesses who make our work possible. This role is critical to our 2026 vision: doubling our revenue to reach more students across Lee's Summit. You'll work with 100+ current donorsand growing) to deepen engagement, convert supporters into partners, and ensure every person who invests in Collektive Co feels valued and sees their impact. What You'll Do

Relationship Building (Your Primary Focus) Welcome new donors with personalized outreach (text, email, and physical mail) Build and maintain relationships with individual donors, understanding their giving motivations and preferences Coordinate 1-1 networking lunches with our top 10-15 donor opportunities Develop tailored engagement strategies for different donor types (monthly recurring vs. annual major gifts) Cultivate corporate sponsorship relationships for events and programs Create pathways to convert financial supporters into volunteers and vice versa Donor Journey & Stewardship Design and execute the complete donor lifecycle—from introduction to deep partnership Coordinate with our marketing partner to gather impact stories from our team and ensure compelling donor communications Send regular updates that inspire donors with stories of student transformation Manage donor appreciation efforts within budget (working with our donation partner) Monitor donor engagement and proactively address lapsed giving with recovery strategies Engage with donors through social media and digital touchpoints Systems & Operations Maintain our donor CRM with accurate records and insights Track giving patterns and create donor segments for targeted communication Assist with preparing year-end giving receipts and tax documentation Provide regular donor analytics and insights to CEO Support donor-facing elements of our annual Fundraiser (working alongside fundraising coordinator) Manage stewardship budget and donor appreciation initiatives Research and identify grant opportunities (Royals Charities, local foundations, etc.) Assist CEO with grant application preparation and submissions Support annual fundraising campaigns and giving days Help establish systems for planned giving and legacy gift conversations (with board support) What Makes You a Great Fit

We Need: Someone aligned with Collektive Co's Christian mission and values 2+ years experience in day to day fundraising, donor relations, or development (nonprofit experience preferred) Working knowledge of donor CRM systems Strong relationship-building skills with ability to connect across demographics Systems thinking—you create processes that scale and make relationships feel personal Detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple donor relationships simultaneously Must be based in Lee's Summit and able to attend in-person meetings, lunches, and events You'll Thrive Here If You: Serve

Time Commitment:

10-15 hours per week; scales to 20 hours during Annual Gala season Location:
