Commercial Outside Sales Representative
We are seeking a highly motivated commercial outside sales representative to help grow our commercial client base and strengthen our presence across the market. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in the field, enjoys face-to-face interactions, and is eager to learn the plumbing and water restoration industry well enough to confidently represent our services. As the primary point of contact for commercial clients-including apartments, hotels, property managers, restaurants, and other businesses-you will build relationships, generate new business, and promote our brand as the go-to partner for plumbing, water, and emergency restoration services. Key responsibilities include: Business development & prospecting Conducting door-to-door B2B sales, visiting commercial properties daily to introduce our services and build brand awareness. Collecting business cards, generating new contacts, and maintaining a robust pipeline of prospective clients. Leveraging prospecting tools and weekly branch reports to track client spend, identify opportunities, and conduct strategic follow-ups. Client relationship management Building and managing your own book of business, staying proactive in outreach, follow-up, and service quality. Engaging with decision-makers at all levels, including property managers, landlords, CEOs, COOs, and business owners. Technical exposure & field learning Learning the basics of plumbing systems and our service offerings to effectively communicate solutions to clients. Running basic equipment demonstrations (e.g., camera inspections, dig explanations) and determining when to involve field supervisors or specialized water restoration/excavation teams. Serving as the bridge between the client and internal service teams to ensure accurate scoping and smooth project execution. Brand growth & market presence Championing our brand and differentiating us from competitors when presenting to commercial clients. Actively promoting our services to increase market awareness and drive long-term partnerships. Required qualifications include: 6 months to 1 year of sales experience, preferably in an outside or commercial sales environment. Comfortable being out in the field, navigating the city, knocking on doors, and talking to new people daily. Strong follow-up habits and customer-focused mindset. Willingness and eagerness to learn plumbing basics-expertise not required, but confidence in communication is key. Proven success or tenure in previous sales roles (experience from multiple companies is welcomed with demonstrated results). Self-motivated, reliable, and excited about building relationships with high-level decision-makers. Job type & location: This is a permanent position based out of Glendale, AZ. Pay and benefits: The pay range for this position is $26000.00 - $65000.00/yr.
