Apprentice Leisure Duty Manager
Location: Trilogy Active
Salary: £12.21 per hour
Full Time – 18 month programme including endpoint assessment
The role of a Leisure Duty Manager is to manage the effective day‑to‑day “front line” operation of our leisure facilities. Responsibilities include:
- Ensure facility is prepared for use in accordance with the planned activity programme.
- Maintain safety, cleanliness, security and operational effectiveness.
- Lead a team and manage front‑line people.
- Deliver outstanding customer service.
Apprenticeship learning covers: business support, leisure facility management, front‑line people management, customer service, legal and compliance, financial responsibility.

Location: Danes Camp Leisure Centre & Lings Forum Leisure Centre
Salary: Minimum £6.40 per hour
Full Time – 18 month programme including endpoint assessment
Key duties include:
- Initiate behaviour change in residents regarding sport and physical activity.
- Plan, organise and deliver engaging activities.
- Assist in training to develop coaching skills.
Qualification includes safeguarding and diverse skill development.

Essential tasks:
- Support day‑to‑day operations and customer service.
- Assist with opening/closing, equipment upkeep and facility cleanliness.
- Deliver group sessions, lifeguard duties, swimming lessons and fitness classes.
Apprenticeship covers lifeguarding, swimming teacher courses and general operational skills.

Responsibilities:
- Supervise site activities, staffing rotas and orders.
- Ensure health & safety, cleaning and security meet required standards.
- Lead operations and promote child and vulnerable adult safeguarding.
Qualifications: National Pool Lifeguard (or to obtain) and optional Pool Plant Operators qualification.
