We are currently seeking an experienced
Construction Superintendent
to join a well-established general contractor delivering projects throughout
Greater Boston . This role will lead field operations on a range of
commercial, multifamily, and healthcare
projects, partnering closely with project management and subcontractor teams to deliver high-quality work safely, on schedule, and on budget.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee all on-site construction activities from project start through closeout
Manage daily field operations, schedules, and subcontractor coordination
Enforce site safety programs and ensure compliance with OSHA and company standards
Coordinate inspections, logistics, and material deliveries
Maintain project documentation, daily reports, and look-ahead schedules
Collaborate with Project Managers, Owners, Architects, and Engineers to resolve field issues
Lead and mentor field staff while fostering a strong, team-oriented jobsite culture
Qualifications
5+ years of experience as a Superintendent on
commercial, multifamily, or healthcare
projects
Strong understanding of construction means and methods, sequencing, and scheduling
Proven ability to manage multiple subcontractors and trades simultaneously
Experience working in active or occupied environments preferred (healthcare experience a plus)
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
OSHA 30 preferred
