As the Construction Superintendent, you bring resourcefulness, courage, and action-oriented leadership to every job site. You will manage construction teams through all project phases, design through closeout, ensuring quality, safety, and adherence to budget and schedule. You’ll be a key client liaison and field leader, creating an environment where accountability, collaboration, and safety are paramount.
Deliver Results
Lead and motivate project teams with strong communication, conflict management, and problem-solving skills. Ensure on-site safety and enforce OSHA and internal safety standards for all construction activities. Develop, monitor, and maintain construction schedules using Microsoft Project or equivalent tools. Oversee subcontractor selection and contract management in partnership with the Project Manager. Coordinate inspections and approvals with local authorities having jurisdiction. Ensure compliance with construction documents, building codes, ADA regulations, and QA/QC standards. Promote project quality by coordinating field reviews, facilitating punch list completion, and closing out all construction documentation. Mentor staff and foster cross-disciplinary collaboration with design teams and engineers. Maintain clear and proactive client communication, anticipating challenges and responding with technical guidance and professionalism. Your Qualifications
Education & Credentials: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, Facilities Management, or related field required. Professional credentials such as Registered Architect, Engineer, Facilities Manager, or Construction Manager preferred. Certifications: OSHA 30 and CPR/First Aid required. CSI-CDT, LEED AP BD+C, WELL AP, and PMI/PSMJ certifications strongly preferred. Training support may be provided for candidates pursuing these credentials. Experience: Minimum of 5 years of relevant field experience in a Construction Superintendent or similar leadership role. Background in multidisciplinary AEC environments, construction methodology, QA/QC, and code compliance expected. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) required. Experience with Microsoft Project, SharePoint, and Teams is preferred. Project Knowledge: Demonstrated understanding of construction documents and specifications, ADA compliance, and ability to interpret and implement building codes and standards. Leadership & Communication: Proven ability to lead construction teams, coordinate across disciplines, and communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and internal stakeholders. Must bring excellent judgment, decision-making, and organizational abilities. Travel: Willingness and ability to travel to client sites nationally, approximately 20% of the time. People Matter.
