Orientation and Mobility Specialist

Key Responsibilities
Develops plans and instructs students with visual impairments in the development of skills and knowledge
Implement IEPs, individualized interventions, and classroom accommodations
Build a safe, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment
Collaborate with school-based Special Education teams, behavior specialists, and families
Participate in IEP meetings, staff meetings, and team planning sessions
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or a related field
Valid Arizona teaching license
MUST HAVE Orientation and Mobility Specialist
certification
Valid Arizona Department of Public Safety fingerprint clearance card
Compensation & Benefits
Rates:
$55-65 / hour
W-2 employment
Paid sick leave
