Overview
Canandaigua Country Club is a Private club established in 1922 located on Canandaigua Lake. The clubhouse and golf course were both renovated in 2017 with golf course architect Stephen Kay completing the course renovation. The Club has over 800 total members including 300 golf members, with a waiting list for both Golf and Social Memberships. The membership consists of many dual club members which spend their summers and weekends at their lake homes. Canandaigua Lake has the second most expensive lakefront property values in the country, second only to Lake Tahoe.
We are looking for a highly motivated individual with a love for the game and the golf business.
This individual must possess excellent customer service and interpersonal skills and have a strong attention to detail.
The selected candidate will be working with numerous members and guests on a daily basis and previous golf course experience is preferred.
Golf Shop: Open April 1st - October 31st
Starting & Ending Dates are Flexible
This is a hybrid position and will entail duties in both Outside Operations and the Golf Shop
35-40 hours per week (based on candidate & club event schedule)
5 Day work week- Weekends and
Afternoons
required
Typically 1 Weekend Day off
(Exception Tournaments)

The Club is building a new Golf Shop and Golf Operations Facility in the near future which will lead to additional opportunities within the Golf Operation
Experience Required Previous customer service & golf experience prefered, but willing to train the ideal candidate.
Essential Responsibilities
Strong customer service skills required
Greet members and guests before & after play
Prepare members golf clubs and carts for play
Training all outside operations staff with emphasis on high end customer service
Assist in the Golf Shop/Tournament Operations
Follow and address CCC rules and regulations when required
Prepare, maintain and operate entire golf cart fleet. 30 Brand New Electric carts in 2025
Provide member & guest services after play( Clean clubs, golf carts and bag storage)
Selected Candidate will be trained to work in all aspects of operation (Golf Shop/Outside Operation)
Assist in scheduling outside operations staff
Tournament Operations
Golf Range Management-setup, monitor and close daily
Must be able to work afternoon shifts
Strong attention to detail
Work alongside the Lead Assistant and other staff to insure a high level of customer service and a First Class operation at all times
