Location: United States, Remote
Duration: 13 week contract with potential to extend— 40 hours/weekly
What you’ll do:
Be or become a master of PowerPoint decks, writing compelling and effective pitches for internal and external audiences.
Embrace and enforce the company’s voice and adapt it to the styles of individual executives and audiences.
Work with designers and sales team members to copy edit and improve our existing sales and marketing materials.
Write speeches, social posts, and ad copy.
Client‑facing skills a huge plus; you’ll be working directly with executives and advertisers.
Qualifications:
2 years experience in advertising, marketing, media, retail, or scriptwriting preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, humanities, or a related field preferred, but your work samples and experience matter more.
You have a preternatural gift for the written word with the ability to simplify the complex and tell a tight, compelling story.
You have some experience writing a diverse range of marketing content, including ads, presentation decks, press releases, social media content, and video scripts.
Background in writing-intensive roles preferred with a solid understanding of how to approach a project from scratch or develop a creative brief.
A great portfolio with work samples. Selected candidates will be asked to complete a short writing assignment.
