Position Overview The Graphic Designer & Social Media Creative is a hybrid visual storyteller responsible for producing high-quality graphics, videos, and digital content that elevates our brand across all platforms. This role requires a sharp creative eye, strong technical skills, and the ability to manage full-cycle content production from concept, shooting, editing, and design to publishing. The ideal candidate is fast-moving, resourceful, tech-savvy (including AI tools), and comfortable working both behind the camera and behind the computer.

Key Responsibilities Graphic Design & Brand Development

Design graphics for social media, presentations, ads, marketing materials, print collateral, and event promotions.

Create and maintain branded templates, color palettes, layout systems, and visual standards.

Ensure brand consistency across all mediums and channels.

Collaborate and empower sales and business development team by connecting design/creative excellence with company mission and purpose.

Video Production & Editing

Lead, coordinate, and participate in video shoots, including planning, scripting, storyboarding, and shot lists.

Set up and operate basic video equipment (lights, microphones, tripods, gimbals, cameras, etc.).

Film short-form content during events, interviews, behind-the-scenes moments, and promotional shoots.

Edit videos for Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Instagram, and website features using tools like CapCut, Adobe Premiere, Final Cut, or Canva video.

Add branded overlays, captions, transitions, audio syncing, and graphic elements to enhance viewer experience.

Utilize AI tools for video enhancement, clipping, resizing, captioning, or visual effects.

Social Media Creative & Content Development

Create visually engaging content including Reels, TikToks, stories, carousels, and video clips.

Identify trending audio, formats, and styles to produce platform-specific digital content.

Capture content from events, meetings, community involvement, and team activities.

Write captions, hooks, and calls-to-action that align with the brand voice.

Proactively pitch new content ideas, scripts, and creative concepts.

Marketing & Campaign Support

Develop visual assets for digital campaigns, podcast episodes, webinars, product launches, and events.

Assist with email marketing visuals (headers, GIFs, thumbnails).

Support landing pages, funnels, and promotional content creation.

Repurpose long-form assets (podcast clips, interviews, webinars) into short-form content.

Technical Skills & Equipment Experience

Experience operating DSLR/mirrorless cameras, lighting equipment, wireless/shotgun mics, and audio gear.

Familiarity with studio setups and basic production workflows.

Ability to troubleshoot lighting, audio, and camera issues during shoots.

Understanding of vertical vs. horizontal content framing, aspect ratios, and platform requirements.

Comfortable transporting and setting up gear for on-site shoots.

Knowledge of AI-based video tools (caption generators, motion graphics, color correction, etc.) is a plus.

Project & File Management

Manage multiple creative deadlines simultaneously with strong attention to detail.

Keep files organized in Canva, shared drives, and brand asset libraries.

Maintain a content calendar and ensure timely delivery of creative deliverables.

Work closely with marketing and leadership to align creative output with goals.

Ideal Candidate Profile

Strong eye for design, storytelling, and dynamic content creation

Hands-on experience with video shoots and lighting setups

Skilled at filming and editing short-form content

Proficient in Canva; Adobe Creative Suite experience preferred

Creative thinker who brings fresh ideas and trends to the team

Confident working in fast-moving, high-energy environments

Bonus: Knowledge of real estate, title/escrow, or service-based industries

Requirements

3 years+ of experience in graphic design, social media creation, and/ or video production

Portfolio showcasing design and video work

Proficiency with Canva; experience with Adobe Premiere, Photoshop, Illustrator, or CapCut

Experience with cameras, lighting, and audio equipment

Availability for onsite content shoots (events, offices, meetings)

Strong communication and organizational skills
