The Role As Director of North America Advocacy & Influencer Marketing, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our fast-growing North America team. Reporting into the VP of Integrated Marketing and leading two direct reports, you will own one of the brand’s most critical growth and investment pillars.

We’re looking for a strategic, ambitious leader who can think big while also rolling up their sleeves. In this role, you’ll develop, oversee, and integrate Medik8’s influencer and advocacy programs across the full funnel - driving brand equity, meaningful consumer connection, and conversion.

You’ll build long-lasting relationships with influencers, affiliates, and industry leaders, while spearheading innovation in our influencer approach. Partnering closely with Global Communications and our US-based team, you’ll ensure regional relevance while maintaining global brand alignment.

This role requires a confident, results-driven leader with the ability to define and present strategies to C-suite stakeholders, a deep understanding of influencer marketing and social platforms, and a proven track record of building brands through creator partnerships at scale.

Key Responsibilities

Own and lead the North America Influencer Strategy across paid and earned channels to strengthen brand equity, increase share of voice, and drive measurable sales impact

Develop and articulate the influencer marketing vision and long-term roadmap for North America, ensuring alignment with overall brand and business objectives

Define, track, and rigorously manage KPIs, using performance, sales, and traffic data to optimise strategies across all influencer pillars

Champion cross-functional collaboration, partnering closely with Integrated Marketing, Sales (Wholesale), and Channel Leads (.com & Amazon) to embed influencer programs into fully connected 360° plans

Collaborate with Retail Marketing to support priority launches, promotions, and peak trading periods with tailored influencer strategies

Act as the regional liaison to Global Communications, translating global strategy into regionally resonant programs while influencing global planning with local insights

Oversee end-to-end execution of influencer activations and product seeding initiatives, ensuring flawless delivery and strategic alignment

Build and manage relationships with agencies, mega-influencers, talent partners, and networks, ensuring exceptional execution and brand alignment

Identify and secure high-impact influencer partnerships, overseeing contract negotiations, budget management, and performance accountability

Lead influencer budget planning and stewardship, ensuring all investment aligns to forecasted goals and ROI expectations

Champion a data-driven, test-and-learn culture, leveraging analytics tools to strengthen content, channel strategy, and performance

Stay ahead of industry trends, identifying emerging talent, platforms, and opportunities to keep Medik8 culturally relevant and competitive

Inspire creative excellence and innovative influencer ideas that fuel brand love and breakthrough campaigns

People & Team Leadership

Lead and develop 2 direct reports within Influencer Marketing

Partner cross-functionally with Integrated Marketing and channel leadership (Wholesale, .com, Amazon)

Foster a culture of accountability, data-led decision-making, excellence, and performance

Qualifications

10+ years of experience in Integrated Marketing, with 6+ years in Influencer Marketing

Ulta or Sephora retailer experience required

NYC-based and comfortable working in a hybrid model (2 fixed in-office days: Tuesday & Wednesday) with 30–40% travel

Proven influencer marketing expertise with strong existing agency and talent relationships

Strategic thinker with the ability to define vision, build structure, develop frameworks, and deliver compelling presentations

Highly collaborative leader with strong stakeholder management skills

Proactive, entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Analytical and commercially minded, confident using data to drive decisions

Experience leading, mentoring, and developing high-performing teams
