Proposal Manager

Thoroughly understand customer requirements and quotation specifications; organize the proposal team for technical solution, control the timeline and quality of bidding documents, and be responsible for presenting the proposal to the customer to ensure the JEE technical proposal gains approval and advances to the final round of bidding. Responsible for preparing the quotation documents for bidding. Prepare detailed technical proposal and other required documents for bidding. Develop and optimize cost breakdowns to enhance the project’s chances of winning the bid. Support the process team and ensure a smooth handover of process work after project kick-off. Qualifications: More than 5 years of experience in BIW (Body-in-White) project bidding and solution planning for North American GM and Ford customer, with familiarity in their bidding processes and related documentation requirements. Led and successfully completed bidding for at least three GM or Ford projects (each valued above $20 million), resulting in contract awards. Fluently present proposals to customer in English. Familiar with the cost structure of welding line equipment and manpower costs across project phases; familiar with cost reduction measures during project execution phase.
