Our client is seeking an experienced Air & Ocean Import Coordinator to join their operations team based in Los Angeles, California. In this role, you will manage and coordinate the end-to-end import process for both air and ocean shipments, ensuring timely delivery, compliance, and accurate documentation. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and proficient in CargoWise.

Key Responsibilities
Coordinate and manage air and ocean import shipments from origin to destination.
Prepare, review, and process all import documentation including bills of lading, invoices, packing lists, and customs paperwork.
Maintain compliance with U.S. customs regulations and trade compliance requirements.
Communicate proactively with carriers, customs brokers, vendors, and clients to ensure smooth operations.
Track shipments, provide updates to clients, and resolve any issues or delays.
Enter and manage shipment information in CargoWise accurately and efficiently.
Collaborate with internal teams to optimize import processes and improve efficiency.
Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years of experience in import coordination for air and ocean freight.
Proficiency in CargoWise is required.
Strong understanding of U.S. import regulations, customs clearance procedures, and documentation.
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
