About HIT Strategies
HIT Strategies is an insights firm that decodes the political and consumer landscape where traditional firms fail. Our diverse team of researchers specialise in reaching the underestimated voters and consumers who are reshaping American culture, media, and markets – communities often misunderstood or overlooked by conventional research. Our brand promise is to deliver culturally competent research and actionable insights with precision, clarity, and impact.
Diversity, equity, and inclusion are at the heart of our mission. As the leading millennial and minority‑owned insights research firm, our team reflects the country’s incredible diversity. Therefore, we especially encourage applications from people of color, LGBTQ individuals, people with disabilities, and groups underrepresented in political research.
Account Manager
The Account Manager understands how both qualitative and quantitative research can be leveraged to achieve research outcomes, and packages research products accordingly for clients’ use. They coordinate with researchers to package our offerings, engage with operations to collect pricing and write proposals. The Account Manager will learn about our research, engage with prospects in our pipeline and close deals to meet our monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals. The Account Manager will expand HIT’s existing portfolio where our expertise intersects with the needs and demands of public and private sector organisations. This includes advocacy, civic, political, government, and corporate organisations. This is a full‑time exempt position reporting to the Chief Operating Officer.
Successful candidates will have experience developing and managing sales pipelines with inbound and outbound sales, negotiating, and closing deals against monthly and quarterly goals. They have experience pitching research projects to social impact organisations and polling to political organisations, including distilling the value of research on strategy, planning and engagement. This role regularly engages executives, programme directors, campaign managers, and other decision makers. Since we work closely with high‑profile political organisations and candidates, interest in electoral politics, social activism, and advocacy work is required.
