The Project is excited to announce that we are seeking a Marketing & Development Coordinator!

Responsibilities Include: Communications

Produce and manage various types of content like newsletters, targeted emails, and presentations.

Work closely with different departments to gather information and insights that need to be communicated internally.

Track the effectiveness of internal communication efforts by analyzing feedback and engagement metrics.

Partners with TPQC CEO & Development Director to create standard comms and materials for both internal and external use including the creation of talking points, one pagers, etc.

Writes and posts media releases, including handling distribution to news outlets

Ensure branded materials reflect organizational voice and brand

Oversees the creation of important internal documents like the organization's annual report

Marketing & Brand Management

Create and schedule content for email marketing, social media, and digital campaigns

Evaluate digital marketing practices and channels to align with the organization’s broader strategic goals

Assist with branding and messaging consistency across all platforms

Draft marketing materials including flyers, social posts, donor appeals, and event promotions

Maintain and update website content and event pages

Track marketing metrics and provide reports

Support storytelling efforts by collecting photos, testimonials, and impact stories

Development & Fundraising Support

Assist with planning and execution of fundraising campaigns, events, and appeals

Support donor stewardship efforts including thank-you letters and acknowledgements

Assist Community Relations & Development Coordinator in maintaining accurate donor records in the CRM database

Prepare donor lists, reports, and mailing segments

Support grant-related tasks including reporting and deadline tracking

Support logistics and promotion for fundraising events

Provide on-site support during events

This full-time position is based at our office in Moline, Illinois. Some occasional evening or weekend work is required. This is a non-supervisory position.

Compensation Compensation starts at $40,796 per year. The final offered salary is determined by years of professional and/or lived experience beyond the minimum requirement, with an additional 2.5% for those proficient in a second language relevant to the role. Our compensation structure is experience-centric and not contingent on education. As part of our commitment to pay equity, salaries are non-negotiable and include an annual cost of living increase.

Requirements Required Education and Experience

Two years of previous marketing experience working in a corporate, non-profit, or newsroom environment. Candidates should have a moderate comfort level in creating multimedia pieces like videos, print pieces, and digital graphics.

Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, public relations or related degree.

Licensure/Certification Requirements

Valid Driver's License, current vehicle insurance coverage, and reliable access to a working vehicle
